WIL Group today announced a change to its senior leadership as Patrick Laredo steps down as Chairman. The group's Executive Committee voted for a twelve month rotational chair and Thorsten Becker has been appointned as the new chair, effective from September 2020.

Patrick Laredo was one of the founders of the WIL Group in 2015 and has held the role of Chairman ever since. He is also the founder and CEO of X-PM Transition Partners (WIL Group’s partner in France) and will continue in this role after handing the Chairman role to Thorsten Becker. Thorsten is Head of Business Development for Management Angels, WIL Group's German arm.

Thorsten said: "I am excited to be taking on the role of Chairman for the WIL Group and continuing Patrick's great work. His focused approach has paid dividends in growing WIL Group over the past five years. Patrick has established true camaraderie among the different WIL Group member firms, facilitating cross-border business. His instigation of our annual international conference has been integral in creating a successful global executive interim business."

Thorsten Becker founded Management Angels (WIL Group’s partner in Germany) in 2000. He previously worked in Corporate Development & Management at Bertelsmann in Munich, and for UK retailer Mondus, where he led product development for the German market. He will continue his business development role for Management Angels alongside the WIL Group chairmanship.
