NORGESTION is a management consulting company operating from five offices in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, San Sebastian, and Pamplona) and specialized in three areas:
- Corporate Finance: M&A, advisory on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, debt advisory and strategic consulting. We are founding partners of the international organization Mergers Alliance.
- Tax & Legal Advisory: Services required by companies, their shareholders, directors and executives to ensure the proper protection of their interests and the optimization of their results, including corporate law, tax, insolvency, international matters, and M&A.
- Advisory & Management: Management Advisory, Boards of Directors / Executive Committees, Interim Management, and Turnaround & Restructuring. We are founding partners of the international organization WIL Group.
Jon Dorronsoro (Senior Advisor)
During his professional career, and as a result of the evolution in the ownership of the company, he has worked in both family businesses and large European multinationals, as well as with Private Equity Funds. Jon also has experience in the successful management, launch and development of various projects in the supply chain, online sales and general distribution sectors. In addition, he has participated in restructuring processes of different companies and has led the process of selling Merkal to a Private Equity Fund. In his professional career, Jon has been able to create and manage motivated professional teams oriented towards achieving their objectives, in a very competitive and mature market.
Previously Jon worked as an auditor at KPMG and as CFO at Merkal itself. Jon has over 20 years’ experience as CEO in MERKAL, a leading company in the Spanish footwear distribution market with over 1,000 employees and 200 shops.
He joins NORGESTION in 2020.
Jon holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Universidad Comercial de Deusto. (Pr. 1989).
